We are offering a free commercial substitution for a limited number of Assioma road pedals belonging to specific batches produced between 2021/02 and 2022/09.
These units present a defect that can, in very rare cases, cause the spindle to break.
Fortunately, only a small number of pedals are affected by this potential issue.
Thanks to our advanced tracking system, we have identified all impacted units and are proactively notifying affected customers through the Favero Assioma app, as well as via email for those who provided it during product activation.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest standards of customer service.

We would like to emphasize that this is not a recall.
While we are under no legal obligation to take action, as confirmed by a leading independent certification entity, we are undertaking this free, voluntary substitution as a precautionary measure to ensure our valued customers receive the best possible product experience.
What You Need to Know
How do you understand if you are an impacted customer?
Impacted customers will be contacted by Sunday, October 13th through the following channels:
Favero Assioma app (ensure it's updated; a message will appear once the sensors are connected)
Email (if an email address was registered during product activation)
If no red labels appear under your sensor(s) on the app's main screen, there is no need for concern as it means that your sensor(s) are not affected.
We encourage all customers involved in this replacement offer to immediately stop using the affected pedal(s) and take advantage of this initiative.
The process is simple and efficient, allowing customers to quickly receive their new pedal(s).
Replacement procedure
Easy, fast, and free, the replacement process is entirely handled by the headquarters of Favero Electronics, not through resellers.
Update the Favero Assioma app
Make sure your app is updated to the latest version.
To do so, go to the App Store or Google Play Store and proceed with the update.
Identify the sensor(s) to replace
Connect the pedals via Bluetooth.
The sensor(s) to replace are identified by a red, “free replacement” label on the app’s homepage.
If no red labels appear under your sensor(s) on the app's main screen, there is no need for concern as it means that your sensor(s) is not affected.
Follow our easy and fast procedure
Depending on your situation, you may need to replace one or both pedals.
Follow the easy and fast procedure that will guide you through every step and information needed, such as your shipping data.
Deactivate the replaced sensor(s).
To complete the procedure, the app will ask you to deactivate the sensor(s) that will be replaced, which, once deactivated, won’t transmit power data anymore.
Receive your new pedal(s) for free at your home
Once the procedure is completed, the shipment will be handled in a few working days.
All shipping expenses and potential customs clearance costs are covered by Favero Electronics.
You won’t need to send us the replaced product back but just dispose of it in compliance with the current regulations.
